Story
PLEASE READ:
Sunday October 3rd was an overwhelming success and I'm not talking about the running (although that went well too). Together we've raised a mind-boggling >£8,000 for an incredible cause: @teenage_cancer trust, who did so much to help my buddy some years ago.
To those that donated, you hold a special place in my heart, alongside the Dinosquad who came out in force as they always do.
Please, it is STILL possible to donate!! Money raised now is the same as money raised at the start when I had £0 fundraised; it will all go towards a worthy cause.
Love you all, be safe out there <3

======================
On October 22nd 2016, on the first of many Megabus journeys up to Bristol, a group of us helped Ricki move from the main hospital into his room at the Teenage Cancer Trust ward. I'd met Ricki at Nottingham University, and we quickly became good mates, partying and surfing together many times. Very sadly, despite fierce resolve and stoic spirit, Ricki was never able to return back home.
We were able to witness first-hand the exceptional facilities at the Teenage Cancer Trust ward, as well as the most compassionate and attentive nurses who worked there seemingly round the clock. It's a great privilege to represent Teenage Cancer Trust at 2021's London Marathon.
Please give generously for a worthy cause... No one should have to face cancer alone.
Thank you so much,
Colin :0) x
