The Facts: Every 17 seconds a child in the developing world dies because of unsafe water That’s over 5,000 deaths every day  Which amounts to over 1.8 million each year. To survive, women and children often need to walk 5 hours a day to collect water. Typically they carry water weighing in excess of 20kg for over 6 kms.

These are horrifying facts but it can take just £10 to supply a person with clean, safe water for life  So please give generously.
