Update - December 2021
I’m chuffed to say that I have hit both my running target for the year and my extended fundraising target of £2500. Your generosity and support helped me through the tough times - including an unhelpful case of Covid-19 in December - and for that I’m enormously grateful.
If you’d like to support me one last time, or share this page to get one last fundraising push done for Special Effect, then please do. Every donation has helped me succeed while also making a difference to lives across the country, so if you can support further then that’d be fantastic.
Update - July 2021
After running the London 10k in July, I hit my first fundraising target of £1200. Thank you so much to the dozens of donors who made that possible.
To celebrate, I’ve doubled my target to £2500 (£2 for every km ran) to keep me going strong this year.
But I must say a massive thank you again for all your support so far. It has kept me going even on days where I’ve felt like I want to do anything other than run. And all your cash is making a difference to the lives of children across the UK - so thank you!!!

I've set myself the goal of running 100km every month in 2021 for two big reasons.
First, I want to keep myself on my feet even as the world continues to drag by at the moment. Setting myself a big long term goal will keep me motivated and keep me happy too.
Second, and most importantly of all, I'm looking to raise money for the fantastic team at Special Effect. As an ambassador to the charity, and through my work, I've seen first hand how much charities have needed extra support to deal with the challenges of COVID-19.
Let’s see how much cash we can raise for this ace cause 👍
