Go Africa!       For Mothers: For Children:For Wales: For Africa      5th to 11th June

Walk/run/cycle 6,282 miles, from Wales to Liberia in  Africa and back!  You, your club, with family or sponsor a student.  1 mile donate £1, 10 miles donate £10. For Noah's Ark Appeal for Children's Hospital and Mothers of Africa

1st Raglan Beavers &Cubs: International Partnership Award. Sue and Karen memory of Karen's mum. Karthi & Mick Allen: Dragon Cyclosporif! William Gajraj 9 years YGGG Llantrisant, walking all week in Disneyland. Bala: & Badminton Club. Bowler & co: Penine Way, 80 tough miles. Jenny Donaldson: Sponsored cycle E8 Llandough  Jacqui &Tiger Feet: Tap Dance.  Media Resources, INSRV and the Engineers: a walk & a pintJAW: go Castle to Castle!  Iljaz: 14 mile roller bade, join him for all or part. David Francis: Marathon walk.Steve M's: mini triathlon. Jack Navein: raft race Sian Williams: Going North for the 39th Long Distance Walkers Association 100 mile endurance event. A gruelling run/walk over hills, dales and bog completed in 35 hours without sleep!  You need hill and navigation experience and determination.    

Mothers of Africa:  Thousands of mothers die in Africa every year unnecessarily.  If the mother dies, often her baby  will die.   Support Welsh healthcare workers educating in Africa.  Helping people help themselves: www.mothersofafrica.org

Noah's Ark Appeal for Children's Hospital for Wales: Raising £7m for the hospital, for an MRI scanner, hydrotherapy pool and state-of-the-art equipment for critical care unit.  Information and news: www.noahs-ark-appeal.org

Supporting women in Africa to implement change via education and infrastructure. Our aim is to educate women, adolescent girls, children and healthcare workers to protect and empower the future Mothers of Africa. Without this vital education, they cannot take control of their own lives and health.
