As a friend & a colleague, Steve Burne has inspired us over the past years with his fundraising for RMH Manchester, including undertaking some gruelling cycle tours overseas. Despite being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at 46, Dad of 3 and grandad of 2 Steve is determined to raise enough funds to create long stay accommodation for other families to be together, & close to their poorly children, as his legacy. 

Thanks to one of our members, Lee Gilbert, who is providing the bike, we intend to clock up 25,000 miles- which is around the world and then some - to help Steve hit his target.

All we ask is that you donate an amount, however large or small, and between the GM Chamber team, we will cycle and run the equivalent mileage. If we have to go twice around the world, even better! 

Please, donate whatever you can to help create Steve’s legacy and provide this much needed support and accommodation. You will be enabling families whose children are in hospital with long term, serious illnesses, to be close to their children & stay together at the time they need it most, and carrying on the amazing work that Steve’s done so far.
