Story

Last summer, my world came crashing down around me when my beautiful mum was diagnosed with a rare form of dementia called frontotemporal dementia which affects behaviour and language. Although we’d suspected something wasn’t quite right for a while, it literally broke my heart hearing the news and I’m not sure I’ll ever recover 💔 I’ve really struggled to come to terms with the diagnosis… watching her condition deteriorate, seemingly overnight, and her change from a sprightly, glamorous, youthful looking mum and grandma who Gabriel and I relied on so much, to a woman I barely recognise and who struggles to speak is honestly killing me…

I would literally give up everything I have just to have my old mum back ❤️ Sadly, there is nothing I can do to cure her illness or slow it down. Because it’s such a rare form of dementia, there’s very little research out there, so I’m raising funds to help research this condition and hopefully prevent more people losing their loved ones to this horribly cruel disease in the future.

I’ll be walking the Glow Walk on Team Ruti Tuti wearing my mum’s trademark pink lipstick 💄 with my rock, Gav and besties Sophie and Emma and would absolutely love your support 🙏🏼 thanks so much in advance xxx
