Story
Sue was a good friend and family member who sadly was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer two months after she retired from the NHS. Sadly treatment didn't help and she deteriorated but she was able to stay at home with the lovely Peter and passed away peacefully with him by her side, this was made possible by Blythe House Hospice at home care and their fantastic support.
This is our way of giving something back as well as giving Sue a damn good giggle watching us do it!

Blythe House Hospice provides care and support for patients, families and carers across the High Peak community who are affected by cancer or a life-limiting illness. The care and support Blythe House provides remains completely free of charge. By taking part in the Glow Twilight Walk, I am supporting Blythe House Hospice to continue to provide this much needed care. By sponsoring me you could contribute to the following:£50 would pay for three hours Hospice at Home care for someone in their last weeks of life.£100 would pay for half a days physiotherapy for a patient struggling with mobility as a result of their illness.£150 would pay for 5 counselling sessions for a bereaved child at one of the hardest times of their life.£450 would pay for three nights of care for a patient at the end of their life who wants to remain in their own home.
