Global Stone is set to take part in a 175 mile sponsored bike ride on 12th September 2013 to raise money for the CLIC Sargent charity.

 

The sponsored bike ride was planned many months ago when a young employee of Global had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and the whole team wanted to show their support and thanks for the extensive treatment and help CLIC Sargent had given to him and his family. It is with great sadness that our brave young employee has recently lost his battle. 

 

The 4 members of the Global Stone team are cycling 175 miles between them in one day.  This is in conjunction with the Kent Blaxill 175 mile ride who have also nominated CLIC Sargent as their chosen charity.  Our team consists of Julian Wood, Dominic Gosling, Scott Spittal and Richard Cutter.  We would appreciate any donations for this event in memory of a special young man.
