Being diagnosed with having breast cancer just a year ago came as a tremendous shock to me, as I have always been a fit and active person.  I've now come through two operations, a course of chemotherapy, followed by sessions of radiotherapy, and have been told the tumour is dead (yey!)

The chemotherapy was hard to cope with, but now I am feeling so much better, regaining strength and stamina by the day.  I am so grateful for the successful treatment I have received, and am very keen to raise money for further research into treatment of this horrible disease of cancer.  I am taking part in Race for Life at the Norwich Showground on 15th May, and hopefully the money I raise through sponsorship will help even more people recover fully in years to come.
