Having worked with various causes to help the homeless over the past few years and having volunteered for Crisis at Christmas, I am extremely passionate about helping people that find themselves in this awful predicament. I have met many homeless people and have tried to help them as best as I can, but words mean little without action! "There but for the grace of God go I" is a very apt phrase for homelessness, whether you are religious or not. Anyone can take a wrong turn or have a circumstance forced upon them in life, that in no time could result in them being homeless. In a rich country such as ours, with so many wonderfully generous people living in it, we can all help end homelessness.
