We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

On the 3rd October 2021 I’ll take on the challenge of racing the 2021 London Marathon. I’ve decided to take this opportunity to fundraise for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

My personal connection to MND is how I saw it ravage my Uncle Gilbert of his life. I witnessed him go from the life and soul of a party to being helpless, fully dependent and bedridden, nothing but a shadow of his former self.

What started off with a weakened grip, noted by him struggling to hammer a nail or open a jar, progressed to walking and breaking problems, then inevitably, his untimely passing.

MND is a cruel disease that currently has no cure.

If you can spare a few quid, please consider donating to, what I consider, a worthy cause.

Thanks for taking the time to read.
