I lost a good friend and neighbour last year, the brilliant Simon Gould and I committed myself there and then to getting the trainers on and running somewhere and somehow, in his memory. Simon was a great runner and in the country's top 50 for his age group (65-70) and right up to his passing. He was, no is an inspiration and I am doing this for and because of Simon. A wonderful, warm person who we lost too soon. A common story I know, but here's hoping we'll pioneer a cure in the not too distant future. Thanks a lot for taking the time and supporting me and the good work of researchers and scientists the World over!
