Story

For over 20 years Guide Dogs have supported our Mum to enable her to have a better way of life.

Especially after the sudden loss of her husband and our Father the use of a Guide Dog has been invaluable. Giving her independence, freedom and the ability to get out and continue to meet people.

After the cancellation of the GNR 2020 and continued lock downs I will be aiming to run 5km per day for the duration of lent,

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
