This is the first half marathon I have ever run and I am running to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit in Hinchingbrooke Hospital.  This is a charity close to our hearts as Ben was born 17 years ago on the 17th September, 8 weeks early and weighing only 3lb 8.  All the nurses and doctors were fantastic and fortunately Ben just went from strength to strength and left hospital three weeks later.  Ben is now nearly 6 foot tall and has just started Silverstone Motorsport College.  We would like to raise as much as we can as a way of saying thankyou for all their hard work all those years ago!
