Story

At Glenlola we have been fundraising now for several years to help Charlene's Project build a local secondary school for the 6500 children in the 8 primary schools Charlene's Project is working with in western Uganda. The foundations are currently being dug and over the next few months this dream of a local secondary school for these children will become a reality. There will be needs as phase 1 of the school is finished, the school is equipped and the teachers and children start. Together by forgoing presents to each other at Christmas we can help the ongoing school build, school equipping and establishment of this new school. Thanks for all your support to date. Let's continue to make this happen through our amazing Glenlola team. Together #creatingbetterfutures #charlenesproject

Charlene's Project was set up by Charlene Barr. Unable to go to school with deteriorating health she decided to fundraise to build a school in Uganda. She passed away in 2010 but her project continues and today Charlene's Project is working in 9 schools (8 primary and 1 secondary) in western Uganda.
