We are holding a Charity Fun Day at The Thurrock Rugby Club on 23rd August in memory of Les & Dots son, mine & Blanes brother, Olivia's uncle Glen who was tragically killed on 6th June 2009 in Greece.

All monies raised will be going to Cleft Bridging The Gap which is a charity very close to our hearts. My daughter Olivia (Glens niece) was born with a midline Cleft Lip and Palate and Olivia's surgeon Mr Somerlad who has since retired since repairing Olivia's cleft set up the charity 4 yrs ago. Mr Somerlad goes out to third world countries i.e. Africa, Asia, Uganda and recently to Rome to help, teach and gives lectures to there drs on how to repair clefts. All the money they receive is through donations which helps to buy new medical equipment for the third world countries, a cleft repair costs £50 per child/adult and research into why clefts are formed as at the moment this is still unknown! All donations will be greatly appreciated now matter how small! Olivia has the most beautiful of smiles and if we can help another child/adult have the same smile as Olivia how great is that! On behalf of the Daly family we would like to say a big thank you for all your help & support over the last 5 yrs.  We know that our Glenboy would be so proud of you all as he loved his little Chub Bub as he called her more than anything. Olivia is also greatful too!
