Story

I'm taking on the infamous Marathon Des Sables to raise money for Walking With The Wounded. WWTW supports disadvantaged veterans who have served in the Armed Forces and their families, empowering them to regain their independence, thrive and contribute in our communities. We have adapted and we continue to support our ex-service community during this difficult time. WWTW has worked in partnership with the NHS for many years and during this period we will continue those partnerships to respond wherever poss The Marathon des Sables, or MdS, is Billed as The Toughest Footrace on Earth by the Discovery Channel. Competitors have to take on Six Marathons in Six Days Across the Scorching Sahara Desert, Covering Over 250km, in Temperatures Rising to 50 Degrees Celcius. Day 4 is the Feared Double Day When Competitors Run Non-Stop for Two Marathons Ccross the Dunes. The Rules Require You to be Self-Sufficient, to Carry with You on Your Back Everything Except Water That You Need to Survive.
