I have always wanted to do the Bupa Great North Run, and after 30+ years of watching it, I've finally got into gear and decided to participate! I am running for the late Sir Bobby Robson and his wonderful charity the Sir Bobby Robson foundation. I'm sure we've all been touched by someone with cancer, so I'm doing my small part in this huge battle. So please, dig deep, from a penny to a pound, even though it's a cliche, it really is true that every little helps.
