Warning, emotional post:
So, 7 years ago I entered the Atlantic Coastal Challenge which is 3 very tough coastal marathons over 3 days. I gave myself 8 months to train for it, wrote a plan and got to work. As some of you know, in June that year (2010) we lost our beautiful little angel George. Obviously all training and events went out the window and my priorities changed to looking after my beautiful wife and just trying to get through the worst time any human being could ever go through. I've never felt emotionally ready to have another crack at this event because of the weight that weighs on my mind when I think of it. Until now. This devil sits nagging on my shoulder and it needs destroying. Hannah Bryant and Winners 2000 have been generous enough to pay for the entry and sponsor the event. I will, of course, be doing it to raise money for THHN. This charity is so dear to me for the simple reason that if George had survived he would have been very poorly and this charity do so much for families going through exactly that. So, please, did deep if possible, if not, just £1 is still amazing. thank you ❤
