Glasgow Clyde College - Supporting our Local Foodbanks this Christmas

Glasgow Clyde College is raising money for Glasgow South West Foodbank

Glasgow Clyde College - Supporting our Local Foodbanks this Christmas · 10 November 2021

This is going to be a tough winter. Especially for those whom we are privileged to serve. The cut in Universal Credit, soaring power costs and food price inflation will put pressure on individuals and families. You can help us to help them.

Story

No one in our community should have to face going hungry especially at Christmas - that is why we are launching our Festive Foodbank collection to support Glasgow Foodbanks who provide
three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people in a crisis.

Funds from this will be split between three foodbanks closest to our college campuses.

About the charity

We are part of the Trussell network but are an independent charity in our own right. We provide emergency food and basic toiletries to those in need who are referred to us by local organisations. We rely on donations of food, time and finance and are grateful for every item or penny donated.
