We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We'll listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.

About the GK Garages & The Mongol Rally:

The Mongol Rally is road trip of epic proportions. 10,000 miles through 20 countries with a car bought for less than £1000 and an engine less that 1000cc. All whilst earning money for charity. A trip of a lifetime!

Traveling from Bristol through some of the most beautiful places in Europe, down under the Black Sea and Caspian Sea, through the “Stan’s” and into Mongolia. The destination isn’t important, it’s all about the journey. (Oh and I think we might drive back as well).

We are GK Garages. (Not actually a garage at all, it just makes us sound a bit more pro.) Aerospace engineers by day, biscuit enthusiasts by night. We both have a serious addiction to looking on eBay at cars we can’t afford, store or repair. Thankfully we are both as foolhardy as each other and think that we are able complete the Mongol Rally!

Driving to Mongolia and back didn’t seem like a challenge enough for us brave men at GK Garages so we have decided to make our lives more difficult by choosing a to tackle this adventure in a classic car! There is a tiny bit of method to the madness, if the car is simply made, it will be simple to fix. Also (and more importantly) we are not driving to some of the most beautiful places on Earth in a sh*tty little Micra!
