We provide a Helicopter Emergency Service to the people of Hampshire & Isle of Wight

Story

I will be walking with an amazing guy (James Franklin) who performed an absolute miracle earlier this year when he saved his wife by performing emergency CPR when she suffered an unexpected and catastrophic cardiac event at the tender age of 43. Keeping his cool whilst watching the woman he loves experiencing such a traumatic event is awe inspiring.

Key to Emma's survival was the early intervention by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance bringing urgently needed Doctors, equipment and medication

We will be walking the 34km from Corfe Castle to Weymouth to raise funds for this amazing charity. Emma's story is particularly close to my heart (pun intended) as I live with Dilated Cardiomyopathy, a disease of the heart muscle. I am determined to maintain an active lifestyle and not allow this disease to define who I am or what I do. This challenge is very much part of that and every pound we raise will help ensure that those who most need help will get it from the amazing Air Ambulance.

So please, however small, donate to our cause and support Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, Emma's Heroes!

About the charity

Saving Lives Through Your Support. Each life-saving mission costs £3,500 and on average, we are called to at least five emergencies everyday. It is only thanks to the generosity of the communities that we serve that we are able keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives.
