Story
Running the London Marathon for Osteoporosis Society is a huge honour. Cancer, Leukaemia and Osteoporosis are massive causes which I regard close to my heart. In March 2008 I sadly lost my father to Lung Cancer whilst only of the age of 12. 6 months later that year I lost my Nan to the same disease. In December 2009 I sadly lost my sole remaining Nan due to Leukaemia. This year my mother has sadly been diagnosed with Osteoporosis and after witnessing my Nan Suffer from it for over 10 years I would like to help raise everything possible to find a cure. Every Year since 2008 I have always participated in charity events and the London Marathon is unfortunately one I have never been successful with until now. Running the London Marathon for National Osteoporosis Society will present me with the chance to fulfil an ambition whilst in the process raising money for an excellent cause.
Osteoporosis is a disease that there should be a cure and I will not let it
affect a life. No one deserves to suffer alone and I want to prove this to the whole world as there will one day be a cure. I will never rest until this is found and no one is made to suffer.
I would therefore appreciate it very much if everyone can help me achieve for this cause and know that when I cross the line we are all crossing the line as a team.
