Story

Thank you so much for sponsoring us! We really appreciate it.

10 years ago we all worked together at Portsmouth Hospital. 10 years on we are reunited to run 10k together - enthused by Sandra and her inspirational attitude to breast cancer.

Some of us have done more training than others! We all have some injuries (excuses) but that is not going to stop us.

Team Profile

Sandra (Team Leader). Inspiration. Best dressed. Most likely excuse - forgot her make up (never) or only just back from holiday. Great tan. Wishes that her trainers had more of a heel.

Lou (Pace Setter). Most likely excuse - leg hurts. Special skill - dealing with old people (very useful these days). Very nimble - speedy on the corners. Only just missed olympic selection.

Jo B (Organiser) Most likely excuse - hip hurts. May have a hangover. Knows where all the wine bars are on route. Nice lipstick. Managed to persuade us all to do this!!

Jo W (Route planner). Likes maps. Most likely excuse - sore hamstrings/buttocks (don't mention the cereal box incident!!). Has studied Paula Ratcliffe - knows where all the loos are on route.

Tony (motivator). He's going to get us round - not sure how but he has a plan, a loud voice and some sweets. Failing that he will use alcolhol.
