The Ginny Elliot Challenge · 29 May 2016

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

I am a Patron of the charity Spinal Research and a former professional event rider.  Many of us know a friend or family who have dealt with a spinal injury and the statistic that 1000 people a year sustain a spinal cord injury really shocked me. I have designed a challenge that will test mental and physical abilities and I will be joined by teams of five and hopefully raising much needed funds for the charity.

The challenge starts with a treasure hunt in Cornbury Park, lunch at Ditchley Estate and then finishing with a row across the lake at Blenheim Palace.

Thank you for reading about the challenge and for your continued support.
