Story

CASBA is an advocacy service for people with learning disabilities in South Birmingham. CASBA believes that everyone has the right to live an independent and fulfilling life where their rights are recognised, they can make their own choices and be part of communities. Through 1:1 advocacy support, CASBA helps citizens with learning disabilities to get their voices heard and overcome the barriers to living independently. I'm taking part in the 500 Miles in May to help CASBA raise the funds it needs to carry on its work. I'll be walking 10,000 steps every single day in May. As a person who sits at a desk, this will mean getting out three times a day, everyday. Please support me to help CASBA give the gift of independence to more people with learning disabilities. Thank you.
