Story

On 9th September 2018 I hope to complete the Great North Run and set a NEW WORLD RECORD for the fastest time to run a half marathon dressed as a Gingerbread man.  The current record is 1:30:12.

Why a gingerbread man? I spent the first 10 years of my career working in the food industry and I've spent the last 11 years recruiting people for the industry.  A very significant number of people are employed in the Grocery industry and many people face times of hardship and difficulty.  I am running for a charity called Grocery Aid.  Grocery Aid will provide £4.5m of welfare support in 2018 to people from factories to shops who are struggling and need help.  Any contribution you could make would be much appreciated.

Here's a video explaining some more about the support Grocery Aid has provided to one individual:

Thanks for taking the time to read.
