Gina’s Vietnam to Cambodia Cycle · 12 November 2022

We are dedicated to the issue of cot death/sids/sudi.

Story

In November 2022 I’m taking part in a 382km charity cycle from Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam to Siem Reap in Cambodia.

The cycle will take me through traditional Vietnamese villages, following streams and rivers, passing paddy fields, and views of the stunning mountains. I’ll then cross the border into Cambodia and push on to the world-famous temple site of Angkor Wat – arguably one of most fascinating wonders of the world!

I became a celebrant with Fuze Ceremonies in 2020. As a humanist organisation, the Fuze Foundation gives back each year by choosing charities to support. This year it is proud to be supporting the amazing The Scottish Cot Death Trust, Scotland’s only charity dedicated to sudden and unexpected death in infancy and young children.

By taking part in this epic charity cycle I’m hoping to raise money for The Scottish Cot Death Trust. Every penny raised will go directly to the charity, helping to provide support for those affected as well as education and research.

Thank you!

About the charity

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.
