Thank you for visiting my page. I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, the only cancer charity in the UK focused on all types of sarcoma. Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat.
My daughter Ali has recently celebrated a huge milestone of being 5 years clear of the Myxoid Liposarcoma - Sarcoma Cancer she had. As a completely unfit non-runner, running the London Marathon seemed the very best way of marking this momentous milestone.
By donating to my page, you will help fund vital research at a charity close to my heart, that is small and run very efficiently, Sarcoma UK. They are working on projects looking for better treatments for this wretched, very rare soft tissue cancer, that is so poorly funded overall.
Your donation will also help raise much needed awareness of the symptoms of sarcoma to help patients get an early diagnosis, and ensure everyone has access to specialist advice.
I am so indebted to have your support, for what will be the most emotional fundraiser I have ever set out to do.
Thank you thank you thank you......
I am so very grateful and send you my warmest best wishes,
