Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page, set up in loving memory of my darling father, Chris Graham, who sadly lost his battle with liver cancer only 20 weeks after diagnosis, passing away in 2012.
My dad was a fun-loving, young at heart person who lived for the outdoors and time doing the things he loved; shooting, fishing, and being with his beloved Springer Spaniels.
A dad who was there when you needed him, who gave the tightest hugs, and could balance a soggy biscuit over a cup of tea like no other. My rock, my dad.
I have never been very athletic, but running this race on Fathers day seems fitting now. The loss is still raw , but the memories remain happy xxx
I am also running in memory of Vay Chong, who although not known to me, was close to a family member, and was also taken by liver cancer only 4 months after discovering the diesese. Vay leaves behind a young family and wife and my thoughts are with them at this time.
So far my fundraising total of £293 will pay for the sevices of a Macmillan nurse for 1 day and 3 hours, so many thanks to all those that have donated so far xx
