Story
I felt it was time to get active and pick a charity to support, so naturally I browsed charitable websites and landed at Bowel Cancer UK – which piqued my interest because Mum passed away in April 2020 from this terrible illness. I also remembered that Chris Evans was recently talking about his colonoscopy (!) on his breakfast radio show....so I had a good look at this charity. A couple of things caught my eye….the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity….dedicated to saving lives and improving the quality of life for everyone affected by bowel cancer…..they have a number of really interesting and worthwhile research projects in process…..so in remembrance of Mum and to help with their excellent fundraising I called up The Family - it wasn’t long before 7 of us decided to get off the sofa and do something!
We have chosen an event we can all do together, the London To Brighton Bike Ride, on 11th September 2022. Simon Clark (me), Daniel Clark (brother), Tom Clark (brother), Jason (brother-in-law), George Clark (nephew), Sam Clark (nephew), Josh Clark (nephew) – I expect we will have a lot of laughs doing this event, though slightly sore, it will be a great day out and we will all be very grateful for your support and donations so that, together, we can raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.
Thank you....
