Hi! I’m taking on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk this year to raise funds for Rock Projects Uganda, a charity many of you will know is very close to my heart, having visited several times and worked with them now for over 13 years, returning in April 2025 to work with them again.

As a charity we have already established the Sunbeams Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools and the Health Clinic too. The new community centre and church is very much in use, albeit not quite finished yet and has been built for the community by the community, raising much excitement, giving hope and purpose and for many too, employment during these past months.

Every penny raised on the Kiltwalk will be topped up by 25% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. It will then be used to further the work of the charity in the ongoing building work and maintenance of all premises, basic medical needs for the children, provision of a daily meal for the children at school, and support for families in need in the community.
