Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 21st June (Global MND Awareness Day) we as a family are taking part in MND Scotland’s National virtual relay.
We’ll be run/jog/walking, and passing on the Blue Baton of Hope ‘virtually’ between our households (for 26.2 miles), to help raise awareness and funds for MND Scotland to support those suffering from Motor neuron disease, and help find that vital cure for this awful illness.
We do this in memory of our Dad, Alexander Cockerell, who passed away in February this year after battling MND for 6 months. We also do it in recognition and Thanks for the support and care provided by the wonderful Nurses & Carers from MND Scotland who are there for both those suffering the illness, and their families.
As well as this, we do it with the hope that every little step and £ raised will make a difference, and lead towards finding a cure for MND in the future.
