Story
Sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused by the body overreacting to infection. It kills around 50,000 people in the UK each year. I have done freelance work for the charity Sepsis Research FEAT for 4 years and have learnt so much about this devastating condition and how much it impacts families. I am passionate about raising awareness so that people know the signs and symptoms to look out for and they understand that sepsis is a medical emergency. In this, the 10th Anniversary year of the charity, I am doing the Edinburgh Kiltwalk with supporters and colleagues from the charity. Please support our team 'Stop Sepsis Strollers' so that Sepsis Research FEAT can continue its vital work- funding research, raising awareness, and saving lives. Together we can #stopsepsisnow.
