Story
We are marking a 30 km route for about 150 walkers at 6 a.m. Saturday 8th May.
The money raised is for three charities. The first is Bromley Autistic Trust which carries out a broad range of activities in the country ranging from Family support to social and lunch clubs for all ages. They also have three supporting residential homes in Bromley. www.bromleyautistictrust.co.uk
The second is the Matthew Ruzike Childrens Home in Zimbabwe which was created by friends in the church. It provides a home for approximately 150 children from birth up to 18 years. www.friendsofmatthewrusike.org
The third is of course The Voluntary Youth Project established at Orpington Methodist Church 42 years ago. This helped our son to volunteer in Thailand last year for a few months teaching and working in the jungle. This project also helps our young people work with 7-10 year olds in Tunbridge Wells at a big brother project.
Thank you very much.
