Hi there. My name is Gillian and I am running the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April 2023 for MAKE A WISH UK. I did this for the first time last year and raised an amazing £3009 for this awesome charity so when they asked if I would like to do it again the sadist in me just couldn’t resist 😂. I have never been a runner and well remember cold winters when teachers would send us out to run cross country to ‘ build character’ 🤣 so after that I avoided any kind of running until I tried ‘Couch 2 5K’ in 2019 and fell in love with running. Since then I have ran the distance between Lands End and John O’Groats and back again all raising money for charity. In October 2022  I ran the London Marathon for the first time which was an absolutely amazing experience which I know I will never forget ❤️. MAKE A WISH UK is a truly amazing charity that simply grant wishes to children in the UK with serious and life threatening illnesses. I know that times are hard for everyone but whatever you can spare simply makes you a wish grantor to these children. So please help me to make their wishes come true. Thank you 😊
