Walk for Northern Ireland Hospice this April!

Story

Almost exactly a year to the day of this sponsored walk we received the devastating news that our much loved Uncle Roy had Glioblastoma, the most aggressive type of cancer that begins within the brain.

We didn't have much time and on the 20th July our precious Uncle Roy left for heaven. He was a one of a kind, our angel on earth. It was a huge shock and we miss him terribly.  He was a completely selfless man and we all adored him.

Uncle Roy ran a marathon so we thought this would be an appropriate way to remember him. Starting this weekend, Myself, my husband and our 2 sons all plan to walk and run the total combined distance of a marathon, finishing the final kilometres on the 18th April. Uncle Roy spent his final weeks in NI Hospice and we will always be grateful for the time we were able to have with him thanks to the amazing care of the Hospice team💕
