Story
To lose somebody at any time of year is devastating. To lose someone at this time of year makes it doubly devastating. On Friday 11th December 2020 we lost our beautiful, gorgeous, clever, kind and totally unique Mama - Marianne Solymar.
In her honour, we have set up this page to raise funds for the Brain Appeal, which is part of the National Hospital for Neurology in Queen Square and leads the world in brain related research.
Mama was a huge fan of the National Hospital and we were all incredibly impressed by the professionalism of all the doctors and researchers we came across. Mama herself was carried away by the most aggressive form of brain cancer you can find - I think it is fair to say she never did anything by halves - and a donation towards the Brain Appeal at the National Hospital will help support research into all aspects of neurology. With her background as a biochemist, we know that Mama would have been completely supportive.
It would be wonderful if you would contribute a little to the fundraiser. It absolutely does not need to be much, but any support would be greatly appreciated.
