Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. The marathon I'm running this time is the 24th edition of the Maratona d'Italia which will take place on Sunday 9th October. The marathon starts in Maranello, runs through the Parco Ferrari in Modena and finishes in Carpi.

I'm running to raise money for Praxis Care which is the largest Northern Ireland charity providing services for adults and children with a learning disability, mental ill health, acquired brain injury and for older people, including people with dementia. The organisation also works in the Republic of Ireland, Isle of man and England and provides a range of accommodation and support services for nearly 1,500 people.

All of the money that I raise with be used to provide services to people who experience mental ill health in Praxis Care's Dunmisk Manor Supported Living Scheme. For example, £50.00 will pay for a music therapy session that enables service users to manage stress and reduce anxiety, or to buy materials for art therapy classes.
