Story
Last year I completed my first Great South Run in memory of my dear friend Katherine Stittle. She sadly passed away in 2011 after bravely battling cancer for seven years. I was overwhelmed with the support from friends and family and so I'm taking the plunge again.
Katherine would think I'm mad for pounding the streets a second time; everyone's entitled to their opinion. Tragically cancer touches too many lives so this is my small way of giving something back.
This year I'm going to beat my time from 2011. On go and trainers and off I go...the count to October 28 starts.
