Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you will know in 2013 I lost my beautiful Nephew Alexander Strong, aged just 7 years old, to the cruel and deadly form of cancer, Neuroblastoma. He was the most courageous and inspiring young man I have ever known in my entire life.
Those of you who know me well, know that I only sweat if I'm on a beach with a cocktail in my hand and only run if someone is chasing me!!! So training for and actually completing all 26.2 miles of the London Marathon is a MASSIVE challenge to say the least. Exercise is not something I am particularly dedicated to so training 4 times a week in the worst season of the year is not something I am relishing. However I have a little someone, always there in my mind, egging me on, reminding me why this is such a worthy cause and its you Alexander.
I am running the Marathon in Alexander's memory so he shall never be forgotten. I really need your support in raising lots of money for The Neuroblastoma Society so they can help other children fight this terrible cancer and give them a chance at living so PLEASE get giving!!!!
I love you and miss you every day, Alexander, and I hope I can make a difference to someone else's family so that they don't have to lose their little ray of sunshine..........
Your donation means the WORLD to me, so Thank You x
