Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am walking/climbing Snowdon on 21st May to raise money for Willow Wood Hospice.  My wonderful sister Maria is supporting me by walking with me.

I got involved with Willow Wood in 2011 when I started volunteering around 2 years after my dad died from MND having used some of the hospice services and I started working fully for the hospice in 2013. Dad found benefits in the day services element of Willow Wood as well as the time he spent on the In Patient ward itself.

As I myself started living with Multiple Sclerosis in December 2010, I see the benefits of Willow Wood Hospice in a different light. This Snowdon trek really is a challenge - training has started and I expect the next few months to be challenging but as I turn 50 a few weeks after the trek it seems like the perfect time.

So if you can support Willow Wood by sponsoring me, it really would help me in climbing my mountain! Thanks xx
