Gill passed away on 5th May 2017 after fighting cancer for around a year. For the funeral, the family have requested that flowers should not be sent, and that money should instead be given to one of two charities:

Shine (http://www.shinecancersupport.org ) was chosen because it is specifically aimed at supporting young adults with cancer in a way which is appropriate to their lifestyle. Gill had a lot of support from them and wanted to raise money to help them. We think she would like to feel that because of her other young adults going through the same experience could be supported.
