Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year Biking for Children in Care are Marauding in the Borders. We will bike from Newcastle, starting on Thursday lunchtime across to Carlisle via Bellingham and the Kielder Forest and Kielder Water and then over Akenshawburn and down into Carlisle through the Border country. We'll come back along the (hilly!) Hadrian's Wall and up through the Northumberland National Park and back from Otterburn to end up at the Millenium Bridge in Newcastle on the Sunday evening. We'll do 200+ miles in 3 1/2 days biking. We'll be raising money for the Who Cares? Trust; the funds will go towards improving the research (and impact of research) on the outcomes for children in care. We have 50 cyclists and a support team covering the challenging route over the weekend from 24th June to 28th June. So think of us slogging away on those hills!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Who Cares? Trust  and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks again for your support!
