Hi from Gill and Scott,

 

We will be participating in a Roller Marathon at Goodwood this August, and will be trying to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer Trust who gave our Grandpa Roy,

(  a fantastic, special man who was a war veteran, and also a foster carer for many many young children and babies)

fantastic support and care in his last few weeks in Christchurch unit before he sadly died in April this year.  

All the staff were extremely caring and very supportive and understanding to both patients and family

We would like to give a little back and this seemed a very fitting way to do so, as Roy was very proud of us and would be loving the idea.....of doing the doings (one of his many sayings).......on skates!!!!

We are attempting the mini roller marathon, which is 2 laps of Goodwood circuit ( 4.84 miles) and would love it if you could help us in raising as much sponsorship as we can for what we feel is a very worthy cause, if you could please help us by donating any amount that you feel you could , either online or via myself or Scott .
