Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

With the big 60 on the horizon. Gill, thinking it was two years closer than it was, decided to challenge herself to show that she wasn't past it. What better way to challenge herself than with a 100 mile cycle around London and the majority of the olympic road race course. Mark, questioning his Mum's sanity above all else, and not wanting to miss out on the fun decided to join her as her lead out man. Think Bradley Wiggins for Mark Cavendish!

Please help us raise our fundraising target for Save the Children a charity that we both feel is one worthy of all our efforts in training and the ride itself. We have a closer affinity to this charity than most, as Gill's parents (Mark's Grandparents) have been keen, active supporters for many years and it is partly as a tribute to them that we do this ride.

Just £5 pounds can pay for ten days of food for a malnourished child, £50 can buy 25 blankets to keep babies suffering from deadly pneumonia warm or £100 can train a health worker to diagnose illnesses and treat children.

We're grateful for any amount, small or large, to help us reach our target. Thank you!

Gill and Mark x
