I was born in 1979, born 'lucky' to great circumstances. Life has been kind to me. I have been 'lucky' to have been surrounded by great people.

Not everyone is so 'lucky' in life. Life is cruel and beautiful all at once.

In 1979 the Galway Simon Community was founded to help increasing numbers of homelessness in Galway city. 

40 years later I am in a position to help them do my 4th Sleep Out on Shop Street and this year I want to see the end of such a resource ...I do not want to sleep out for another 40 years.... in 40 years we have not solved the crisis and things are getting worse - its up to us to show some more compassion.

In 2018 we smashed our target of €30k and reached €84k 

I believe we can hit the €100k this year - its badly needed

But 

We need your support again
