Story
Some of you may ask why I am taking on this challenge. Well, as usual, over Christmas, I was thinking of what New Year's resolutions to set ... even though I'm pretty much perfect ... and like last year, the year before, etc. I decided to go to the gym more often and get fit again. However, learning from the previous years, where the motivation only lasted for a couple of weeks (at best), I decided there had to be a goal, something driving me forward.
So this is it! A chance to see another part of the world, get fit again ... and now, at the same time, raise some money for a very deserving charity.
As many of you will know my brother was born with Hydrocephalus. ASBAH (www.asbah.org) are the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and their role is to help and support people all over country who face the same challenges my brother does and to answer the same questions my family once had.
The aim of my challenge is not just to raise money for this charity, but also to raise people's awareness of a very noble cause.
So please, give as much as you can ...
Thank you!
Giles
