Story

Hello.

It's my birthday this August and it's a biggie. 40. Yikes. What to do? How to mark it? Do I...throw a massive, glittering party? Nah. I can't deal with that kind of stress. Buy a red sports car? No no. Bad for the environment and have you tried driving in London recently? Embark on a passionate affair with someone half my age?? Pass. Well that only leaves...competing in the London Olympic Triathlon 2022.

Oh alright. Go on then.

Yes folks. This is actually happening and so I've decided to try and raise a serious amount of money for Cancer Research. £8000 is a huge sum but I figured...go large or go home.

Over the last few years far too many members of my family and friends have had to battle cancer. Some have sadly lost the fight. Some are still fighting. Gloriously most have won but the fight goes on. The extraordinary work of charities like Cancer Research give us the very best chance of winning this war.

If you are able to spare anything to support my triathlon madness I can't begin to describe how grateful I would be. Be it £500 or £5. Whatever you can spare. If you were kind enough to be considering getting me a birthday present then THIS is what I really want. Every single penny will go to a truly excellent cause and help me across the finishing line.

Thank you so much.
