Gilbert's Trapeze with Arthritis?

Gilbert Turner is raising money for Arthritis UK

Trapeze with Arthritis? · 26 June 2021

We’re the 10 million people living with arthritis in the UK. The carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. The family, friends and fundraisers. United by a clear vision: a future free from arthritis. One in which no one is limited by the pain, fatigue and isolation that arthritis can cause.

Story

Trapeze Jump

Would you have a go - it looks very difficult! Being 65 with arthritis in my left hand, it is a major challenge!!

I wasn’t planning to do this but noticed the structure from Cheltenham Leisure Centre and spotted it on Google. It obviously was a challenge and I am pleased to find that the All Bar Flying Trapeze Club have donated and supporting this charity attempt.

Given my arthritis, the obvious charity is Versus Arthritis. Millions of people wake up with arthritis every morning and face the day in pain, without the support and recognition they deserve. Versus Arthritis invests in breakthrough treatments, the best information and vital support for everyone affected by arthritis.

Please sponsor me so that together we can overcome the pain, isolation and fatigue of arthritis. We can take it as a challenge - if you don't do trapeze jumps, sponsor me instead? The jump is on Saturday afternoon in Pitttville Park - 26/6/2021.
